David Warner Profile | David Warner Biography
(This David Warner profile was written on Dec 2014)
David Warner is a pocket sized dynamite who can take any bowling attack in the world to the cleaners on his day. He is just 5 ft 5 inch tall, but can hit the ball miles out of the park. Warner first burst into the international scene in 2009 as a pure T20 player. This left-hander took the world to the storm with his crazy hitting out of the park while giving a damn to technique. On his international debut which was a T20I against South Africa at Melbourne, David Warner then only 22 came up with a blinder smashing 89 from just 43 balls.
Warner has been since long considered to be a T20 specialist but today he has grown into a world class performer even in Test cricket. And this is where he is extremely dangerous in killing the morale of the fielding team right at the very beginning of the innings in Test cricket. The diminutive David Warner is not afraid of taking the aerial route even in Test cricket right from the word go against the brand new cherry.
David Warner plays for New South Wales in the Australian domestic circuit. He has also played for Durham, Middlesex in English county, Northern Districts in New Zealand T20 tournament, Sydney Thunders in Big Bash and for Delhi Daredevils and the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League.
