Ravindra Jadeja
England were rocked by R Ashwin’s triple strikes. First he bowled England Captain Alastair Cook through the gate with a drifter for 12. Then he had Moeen Ali (5) tamely driving one in the air to mid on.
Jayant Yadav in between, joined the party by dismissing first innings hero Jonny Bairstow for 15, caught low by wicket keeper Parthiv Patel.
Another key performer for England, Ben Stokes was out lbw to R Ashwin for 5 in the final over of day three.
England trail behind by 58 runs with night watchman Gareth Batty at the crease on 0 not out alongside Joe Root who is on 36 not out. Root opened the innings in the place of Haseeb Hameed who injured his left hand’s little finger in the first innings.
Reports are that the 19-year-old Haseeb Hameed may not bat again in the match because of the pain he is having and most probably has ended his tour with the injury.
